Crochet Bracelet

free pattern

you'll be working in a spiral.  these instructions are written "funny" for the ease of following the pattern.  please read everything before starting the bracelet.

if the beginning chain is too small or too big for your wrist, adjust accordingly and the pattern will still work up great.

yarn: any striping sock yarn

crochet hook: E (3.5mm)

Abbreviations:
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet

INSTRUCTIONS

-ch 40, join to form a ring, c 1
-sc in each ch around, do not join, start working in a spiral NOT turning work
-in first sc work 1 sc, then continue as follows

NOTE: the following are not rounds
how to follow instructions:
when i note "2 sc" it means "1 sc in next, 1 sc in next"
when i note "3 dc" it means "1 dc in next, 1 dc in next, 1 dc in next"
etc etc... you're working one stitch at a time, no increases

-2 sc, 3 hdc, 5 dc, 4 hdc, 13 sc, 6 hdc, 9 sc, 2 hdc, 3 dc, 2 hdc

-10 sc, 5 hdc, 8 dc, 2 hdc, 16 sc, 5 hdc, 5 dc, 2 hdc, 9 sc, 2 hdc

-6 dc, 2 hdc, 9 sc, 4 hdc, 13 sc, 2 hdc, 6 dc, 3 hdc, 4 sc, 5 hdc

-4 sc, 7 hdc, 8 sc, 2 hdc, 6 dc, 7 hdc, 3 dc, 2 hdc, 5 sc, 1 hdc

-6 dc, 8 hdc, 5 dc, 3 hdc, 16 sc, 11 hdc, 20 sc, 4 hdc, 2 dc, 2 hdc, 16 sc

-4 hdc, 6 dc, 2 hdc, 6 sc, 2 hdc, 5 dc, 2 hdc, 6 sc, 8 hdc, 6 sc, 8 hdc

-5 sc, 2 hdc, 6 dc, 3 hdc, 6 sc, 2 hdc, 4 dc, 3 hdc, 7 sc, 7 hdc, 4 dc

-2 hdc, 7 sc, 1 hdc, 3 dc, 3 hdc, 10 sc, 2 hdc, 2 dc, 2 hdc, 3 sc

-END!  join with slip stitch and weave in ends
