crochet crown

i pulled out my encyclopedia of crochet and knitting stitches and i found a cool edging pattern… when worked with a smaller hook it creates a 3-d object, like this crown!!

fun fun fun… for a little girl you’d have to bobbi pin it to her hair, but at least it’s not a dangerous pointy metal crown!!   she can even sleep in it, hehe

the shape can be used for creating other things, like a necklace… i’d like to try this stitch with some light gauge wire…

hmmm, maybe it could be the beginning of a summer tank top??   well, you know me and shirts, i never finish them…   hehe
