TNNA - Columbus Ohio
off i go to TNNA! my brandy new luggage made it fun, i love luggage… luggage and bags in general, especially with lots of pockets… anyways…

Jessica picked the Westin Columbus, which was an awesome hotel… and the bed was so great, soft sheets and pillows, two down comforters… a nice bed makes a stay in a hotel a bit more comfy..

we had a layover on the way over, two planes, two takeoffs, two landings… BUT we got to see the tops of severe thunderstorm clouds!! how effin cool is that?!?!
dont have any photos of the TNNA show.. you weren’t allowed to bring in cameras (although i have seen some photos around the internet, i should have been more brave i suppose… i’m a chicken when it comes to “breaking the law”)
huh huh what?! yup! signed books galore! i got to meet Teva Durham, Melanie Falick and you-know-who of Yarn Harlot! i also met the gorgeous girl of Purls Beyond Price
* hmm, what else… Ozark Handspun was awesome stuff! and then we got to meet the fabulous people of Kollage Yarns, LOVE THEM! got to eat at a retro lunch place thanks to Kim… had some fun with pouring rain and lightning… got to walk a million miles thanks to Jessica (my feet are now bloody stumps, haha .. i’m not a huge walker, flat feet.. but it felt really good afterwards, i think, i slept well anyways) … oh, saw bits of the fashion show friday night… got to see the trend of bright colors and natural yarns for next season…
** for the plane trip back i got some yarn from the wonderful JCA people and a circular needle from Colonial Needle… there’s my little hat-bowl thing that i knit on the plane home… it was especially helpful to knit during the roller-coaster-of-a-ride on the first plane… it was nice to get back home, but i had such a great time, want to do it again!!!
