toddler top and texas
i’m alive! i drove a 16 foot moving van with a trailer for 40 hours from Mass to Texas, well, Audrey shared the driving time but i’m trying to do the math and thinking that i drove for almost 30 hours on only 6 hours of sleep, crazy! the adrenaline of the huge trucks passing us by really kept me awake… we had a total blast too, click the duck
here are some photos from my road trip to Texas,
including the rare steak i ate and lived to tell about it ;-)
bamboo toddler top
i finished this cutie on the plane back from Texas,
adorable eh?! nice for spring and summer, now i wish i made one in my size!
okay, that MUST be the next project, i really love working with this yarn…
its the great SWTC Bamboo, the yarn itself is not as soft in the ball as when knit up, and once you wash it a few times it softens even more… VERY stretchy! this will fit a girl 2 to 4 years, and i’m gonna try to squeeze it onto a 6 year old too ;-)
** knit in the round on US 6, top down raglan style
here is a close-up on the sleeve, in which i finished
it off with double crochet…. did i mention that Bamboo is even
stretchy when done in crochet??!?!
