Uncommom Threads tv show
yay!! the taping of the "Uncommon Threads" show was awesome... we had a blast and met some cool people... read on... i'm just as bad as Meg, taking 5 photos in 4 days... thats so lame! but here they are... Toni and Beth have way more, i can't wait to see those! okay, off to Maine for a week!!! i think i'll have internet access, but i'll be too busy fishing ›going to LA
well, tomorrow morning i fly out to LA for the taping of the new show "Uncommon Threads" which will be on the DIY network... wowee!! i'm realizing now that i'll be on tv for crochet, weird! i get back on thursday but leave on saturday for a week long vacation in Rangeley Maine with my family... i cant wait for that, this trip to LA will be fun and alot of work. so, you'll hear from me in two weeks! maybe ›crochet crown
i pulled out my encyclopedia of crochet and knitting stitches and i found a cool edging pattern... when worked with a smaller hook it creates a 3-d object, like this crown!! fun fun fun... for a little girl you'd have to bobbi pin it to her hair, but at least it's not a dangerous pointy metal crown!! she can even sleep in it, hehe the shape can be used for creating other things, like a necklace... i'd li ›quick update
quick update! remember i was talking about submitting patterns and such? well... its a go! Beth, Meg, Lauren and I are going to be on a new needlework show on the DIY network!! it's from the producers of "Knitty Gritty"... yeeha!! our group will be showing how to crochet and we have a bunch of patterns we will be sharing on the show... oh my god! this is so exciting!!! ;-) ›- maintain a blog? ›9
