** oh my gosh, this little crochet creature is SO cute, at knitbuddies.blogspot.com… AND and i coulda sworn i had more links to show you, but for the life of me i cant find them in my favorites…
i’ve made progress on the secret habu/alpaca cap sleeve shirt… i’m so in love with it! can’t wait to finish, i’m gonna sit down tonite and fly thru it…this should be done in no time… i cant wait.. the style is kinda wacky, and it has a v-neck… i want to try it on so badly, gotta finish the back and then the sleeves..
i was inspired by Mohair Tam to create this cap-sleeve summer shirt… the yarn knits up on really any size needle… i’m using US 11 for an airy fabric.. Mohair Tam isn’t really like mohair, it doesnt have that scratchy feel to it, it’s soft, and it doesnt knot up as much as typical mohair yarns…
and i’m using Blue Sky Alpacas Sportweight held double for the black sections… oh my god is that yarn soft… i know, why dont i show you the whole front?! i like creating suspense ;-)
and below is what i’m playing with right now
|okay, thats all for now! wish me luck with the cap sleeve shirt!|
