knit – Asymmetrical Neck Wrap
My favorite of the two versions in this pattern is the large wrap in Granite yarn, but I test knitted the pattern in the Karma and figured it was pretty cute and should add it to the pattern. This pattern was “thought up” as a need to cover the area that is subject to cold when you’re wearing a v-neck. There is not much bulk at the back of the neck, unlike a traditional chunky scarf.

You can use any kind of item to fasten the scarf in the front.
I used a beginner approach to short-rows, it makes the wrap curve around easily.

This pattern works up in two sizes with two different yarns.
LARGE (32″ x 7″)
1 ball Loop-d-Loop Granite, super bulky
US 13 needles
or
SMALL (24″ x 4.5″) wrap (black scarf photo above)
1 ball Stacy Charles Karma, bulky
US 10.5 needles
